Medical Mission Trip

This summer I am traveling to Costa Rica for a medical mission trip. I am currently a Pre-Physician’s Assistant senior at LSU hoping to graduate with a degree in kinesiology and a minor in psychology. Throughout the trip, I will be shadowing doctors and other health care professionals, as well as assisting on some minor procedures. Additionally, I will have the opportunity to observe major operations firsthand. I have never been on a medical mission trip before, and I am eager to learn and grow from this experience. I am thrilled to play a small role in providing proper healthcare to the unprivileged people of Costa Rica.

This trip will last about 8 days. The money that I am raising will cover the cost of the trip which includes airfare, housing, and food. I will be donating any extra money I raise to the International Service Learning Organization for medical supplies.
