This is Rita. She is a an elderly woman, just like anybody’s grandmother. She is in emergent and desperate need of our help. Life has thrown some very difficult circumstances at Rita and her time is running out, literally. She is stuck in Canada, without the physical ability to return to her home country due to a life threatening lung disease that is progressing rapidly and is threatening to claim her life. She has a tube in her chest that drains liquids from her lungs and is unable to travel anywhere. She has no family in Canada, and the little money she did have, was spent on medical care. Rita’s condition got drastically worse recently and she had to be hospitalized, and was given treatment for several days. Her hospital bill was over $30,000. She’s absolutely terrified. She has no way of paying the medical bill, and no way of leaving the country to receive treatment, and is still in need of immediate medical care. Her life is in serious danger and she, and a few good people who are her only resource, need your help. Please help save Rita.
