HELP BRING BRYAN HOME so he can be layed to rest
Hello, my name is Sherry Smith, I have thought about how to write this letter a hundred times. I never know how or where to begin. So here I go.
Bryan was born September 9, 1991 in Longview, Texas. Bryan was very smart and loved sports. His favorite was baseball. Bryan went to high school in Stewart County, Tennessee where he met his soon to be wife and mother of two of his children.
Bryan has four children all together, three boys and a girl.
Four people are responsible for me not being able to lay my son Bryan to rest.
In May of 2020 I received a phone call that has forever changed my life. For about two years prior the only contact me or anyone else had were text messages or emails from him. I later found out that his wife was the one sending the messages from Bryans account.
A phone call in May of 2020 made my worse nightmare now my reality. My son was forever gone, that in June of 2018 his wife and three others took my sons body and buried him on a remote piece of land in East Texas and never reported his death to anyone, not even the authorities, not until may of 2020.
After a search was done where they said they buried Bryan the only evidence that was found was a tarp they had Bryan wrapped in but took him out of to bury him only 12 inches in the ground. No remains of Bryan were ever recovered. Each person involved in disposing of my son’s body received ten years probation and it will not be on their record after probation is served. All four people involved were charged with tampering with evidence of a corpse.
I struggle with this every day. Its time to Bring Bryan Home.
I am reaching out to you asking for your help and support to find my son so that I can bring him home to be laid to rest so that me and his family might be able to start the healing process.
Bryans case hardly received any attention. His name was never spoken and his story has never been told, until now.
I want the funds to hire a private investigator to follow up on information that was never checked or questioned, never investigated. I would like to have more searches done in other places that Bryan could be.

As you can imagine this has been very hard for me. So many questions with no answers. Before I knew Bryan was forever gone I worried if Bryan was cold or hot, hungry, scared, or alone. He was and still is, help me bring him home and lay him to rest. Please open your hearts and ask yourself the question, what if it was your son?
