Hello, my name is Samir Gautam, and I am reaching out for support during an incredibly challenging time for my family. My mother, Reju bhandari Gautam, has been bravely fighting invasive carcinoma (breast cancer). I am an international student in Canada, and sole bread winner of my family. This battle has brought immense emotional and financial strain. She has finished her half rounds of chemotherapy and underwent surgery to remove a tumour. She still has more chemotherapy and immunotherapy after that.

Recently, we have managed to cover the medical expenses so far, but we are now financially exhausted. As international student, my resources are limited, and the cost of medical care in Nepal is significant. We have reached a point where we can no longer sustain the expenses on our own. We humbly ask for your help in this difficult time. The funds raised will go towards covering my mom’s ongoing medical treatments, including chemotherapy and any additional therapies that may become necessary. Your support will also help us manage transportation cost as there isn’t any cancer hospital near my home. Taking a flight to go to the hospital is the only way to reduce travel time. Your support will also help us manage proper diet for her and the care she needs to fight the disease.
