Support Dominic Legrand's 350-Mile Walk for Mental Health
**Help Dominic Legrand Walk for Mental Health Awareness**
Hi, my name is Dominic Legrand, and I’m reaching out to you from Greensboro, North Carolina. At 35 years old, I’ve faced significant personal challenges that have shaped my mission to make a difference in the world of mental health.
I’m embarking on a 350-mile walk from Greensboro to Atlanta, Georgia, to raise awareness about mental health issues and support the creation of meaningful solutions. This journey is deeply personal to me. I lost my big brother due to mental health struggles, and I’ve also experienced long-term incarceration as a result of my own mental health challenges.
In memory of my brother and in pursuit of a better future for those struggling with similar issues, I’m committed to starting an organization dedicated to mental health. My goal is to develop resources and solutions that can prevent tragedies like the one that occurred on I-85 South.
Additionally, I am excited to launch a mental health initiative called The “Teddy” Program. The teddy bear will serve as a symbol of comfort, support, and a new wave of mental healing. Our mission is to offer hope and tangible support to those in need, fostering a community where mental health is prioritized and understood.
Your support will help fund this vital walk and provide the necessary resources to establish this initiative. Whatever amount is raised will be divided between Greensboro and Atlanta towards the purchasing a building for mental health resolutions in the community. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to creating a world where mental health is openly discussed, supported, and treated with the compassion it deserves.
Thank you for joining me on this journey and supporting a cause that is so close to my heart. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and bring about the change we all need.
With gratitude,
Dominic Legrand
