This year one of my New Year’s resolutions was to complete a Half Marathon.

On the 1st of January I received some upsetting news that someone I hold dear to my heart has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

I wanted to do something to help in some way, so I decided to run a marathon for this special lady and all the other very special women in mine and my families lives who have been affected by this illness and try to raise money for Breast Cancer Research UK.

So on the 27th of June I will be taking part in the Lee Valley Velo Park Half Marathon.

All funds donated will be sent straight to the charity and any donations are greatly appreciated.
