NAVI PLUS Community Service 2022 Fall

With Covid-19, there have been many limitations due to the increasing number of patients. Due to the pandemic, hospitals have continuously reported significant shortages, including ventilators, protective equipment, emergency supplies, and other materials in great demand. Even the patients have to wait in the hallway/chairs until they get assigned to the beds or rooms. As hospitals face such supply and financial instability, the Navi Plus debate team is working to raise money to show our support toward those patients so we can help their waiting time a bit easier. NAVI debate team was established in 2013, and most high school debater's been debating for over 6-7 years. We've achieved a lot through our debate program, and we want to show our gratitude and partnership toward our community this time.

The New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Queens, where our debate team office is located, and by donating, we can assist in allowing this hospital to provide better services by offering a tote bag that the patients put their stuff such as their belongings, medical treatment tools, medicines and others while they are waiting. With the hospital consisting of top doctors and having the goal to provide the best health care services to the community, helping to raise money for such a hospital would benefit the citizens. With this foundation providing advances that allow the community to receive life-saving support and healthcare, we should work towards helping the organization fulfill its goals.

The foundation is working towards being able to provide excellent services in a compassionate manner. It is also an organization that can support students to become future leaders who can benefit and assist those around them. As funding is essential to help accomplish such goals, we hope to be able to make such a significant donation to the hospital in our community. We can help these hospital patients feel more connected, supported, and satisfied. Every donation can help the community and can make an impactful difference!
