For online donations to support the fundraising mooting competition for the National Community Law Project CIC.
The National Community Law Project CIC is a community based legal company that assists people on low incomes in their legal matters. Research indicates that people on low income have been made the most vulnerable and most likely to face problems accessing legal remedies since the passing of the LASPO Act 2012. The further restrictions on legal impinged on the rights of individual access to professional legal assistance. We aim to bridge the gap between people who need access to justice and legal remedies alongside the professionals who can assist them.
The Mooting competition will be on 12th March between 9am-4pm. This will be run by the National CommunityLaw Project CIC, Cardiff Law Society and Cardiff and South East Wales Junior Lawyer Division. There will be the opportunity to networkwith a number of firms and help us fundraise throughout the day. We will be extremely grateful for any and all donations as it helps us arrange the event and continue helping people who need legal assistance.
