National 3 peak 24 hour challenge for Unique Ways Charity
Hi!!! Me and a couple of friends are doing the National 3 Peak challenge. That’s the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales all in 24 hours (including driving time!)!
Earlier this year my daughter Iris was diagnosed as autistic so the charity I’ve chosen to raise money for is Unique Ways.
If any of you know me then you know my love for walking and the outdoors so we thought this would be a perfect challenge to pull together and raise some funds.
Unique Ways are a parent-carer led organisation supporting disabled children and their families, helping them to lead ordinary lives. Their goal is to make sure that the voices of parent carers and their families are heard.
They provide a broad range of services for parent carers, from training courses and Independent Supporters to social events, focus groups and discounts on family days out!
Check them out here - Unique Ways Website
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my page and please consider donating.
