My name is Scott, and my best friend Nathan was in a go-kart accident on Sunday, March 2, 2025, and airlifted to the hospital.

Nathan is currently in the ICU at UVA University Hospital and under the care of a team of Neurosurgeons. He is unconscious as a result of a severe brain injury from the accident and currently unable to have any surgeries. The medical expenses will continue to accrue and this is where we could use your support.

Nathan is a devoted father of two sons, loving husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and one of the most reliable friends for all who know him. He is an accomplished welder, owner of McGuire’s Welding and Fabrication, and multi-talented when it comes to anything with an engine. Nathan works hard and plays hard, loving life to the fullest!

With much unknown of the healing journey ahead, the medical expenses will likely include more than hospital and doctors. As a self-employed entrepreneur, he has not been able to afford medical insurance. Therefore the bills will certainly be an immense burden.

Update 3/8/25

Sadly Nathan passed on 3/7/25 at 313pm as a result of his injuries. Fortunately, he was an organ donor and has been able to help alot of people. Sadly now his wife and kids are now without their loved one.
