My name is Nathan Gillan. I am a 14 years old 8th grader. I started Boy Scouts at the beginning of 6th grade and have diligently and quickly worked my way up through the ranks. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project preparations. I will be building a Gaga ball pit for a local elementary school. Keeping yourself physically strong and mentally awake are two parts of the Scout Oath that my project will help encourage in students. Gaga Ball is beneficial because many students can play at the same time, and it helps develop hand-eye coordination, strategic thinking, and agility skills. The impact hope of the project is for elementary students to have fun while enjoying physical activity, leading to a more healthy life. The Gaga Ball pit will be a place on school grounds for elementary students of all ages and varied abilities to come together and benefit from the inclusive nature of the game. I am asking that you consider donating to my Eagle Scout project. The fundraiser goal for this Eagle Scout project is $2,900. The fundraising goal is pretty high, but the outcome will be priceless!
