Nathan's Eagle Project: Refurbish Matthew 25 Patio

Hi, my name is Nathan, I am currently a junior in high school and I am working on my Eagle Scout rank for Troop 413 in Hendersonville, TN. One of the requirements to earn Eagle Scout is to lead a project that benefits the community.

My project will benefit Matthew 25, a non-profit organization in Nashville, TN that provides housing, help, and hope to Veterans looking to obtain permanent housing in the Nashville area. Learn more about Matthew 25 here: https://www.matthew25nashville.org

I will be doing a complete patio refurbishment at the Matthew 25 resident facility. The project includes pressure washing and cleaning the patio, building several Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, planter boxes, a pair of cornhole boards, and providing umbrellas for shade. I hope to provide the Veterans in the Matthew 25 programs an enjoyable place to relax and socialize with each other.
