Nathan Carriere's Eagle Scout Project, WMS Bike Rack Project
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Nathan Carriere and I am a member of Troop 56 in Wilmington, MA. I am currently a Life Scout working my way to Eagle. I am raising money for my Eagle Scout project. My Eagle Scout project is the installation of a bike rack at the Wilmington Middle School. My proposed Eagle Scout Project will benefit the Wilmington Middle School, students and community members. Currently, there are no bike racks at the baseball field entrance of the Middle School. Students who ride their bikes from that direction leave their bikes propped up against the fence. I have seen anywhere between 5 and 10 bikes parked there. People aren't able to easily attach a bike lock and currently the bikes are not kept in a safe or neat manner. A bike rack would be neater and easier for students to lock their bikes. The bike racks would also be used by the community. People utilize the field for baseball and field hockey and there is also a small playground. The bike racks would be beneficial not only to the school and students but to the community.
I am raising funds to purchase the bike rack and supplies needed to construct a concrete pad the rack will be installed on. Any additional funds will be donated to Wilmington Middle School. Thanks for your consideration and support.
