Nate's Volunteer Trip to Peru!!

Hello everyone! For those who I am not yet acquainted with, my name is Nate Stern. I’m a 15 year old freshman at Paul D. Schreiber high school in Port Washington, New York.

I’m writing to ask one and all to please donate to help me get to Peru this summer to join a "pay your own way" volunteer program through the Global Leaderships Adventure (GLA) group for three weeks in July. I’ll be spending my time helping support medical initiatives in various local mountain villages in and around Cusco, Peru. I’ll get first hand experience with concepts such as medical supply logistics, humanitarian aid, and even assisting in distribution of medicine, as well as gaining a better understanding of the world around me. Growing up my mom had me involved with volunteering at soup kitchens and with organizations that helped children and families, and I've been wanting to do more volunteer initiatives like this type of program outside of the states that would be equally as morally valuable as it is fun.
