Meet Naomi and Landyn.  On July 18, 2018 , Naomi was shot at point blank range in her left eye while she was 5 months pregnant, by her now ex boyfriend. The bullet traveled through her hand, into her eye and landed right before her brain stem. An aweful act of domestic violence. Her mother was told she had a .1 % chance of survival.   She has survived, and made great strides in healing through her brain injury related obstacles. Landyn is perfectly healthy baby boy even though he is a premie baby. The healing for Naomi is a long road.. She is currently attending Ot to work on gross motor skills for her right hand.. She is debating still on the left hand surgery to attach her tendon back, as there is a chance she will lose her fine motor there as well.  Naomi has plans to finish her education  by getting her GED, and then communications degree to go out and speak to teenagers about domestic violence , so that she can make sure this doesn’t  happen to someone else.. As of right now she can not work or go to school per Dr. Orders. But that will change as  Naomi’s personality will not let her be beaten by the injuries either. She is blind in her left eye, lacks hearing in her left ear, sense of taste is mostly gone, as well as barely any fine motor in her right hand due to the two strokes she had while in a coma. This is to help Naomi and Landyn until she can get into the next phase of her recovery and move on to help others .   Every little bit helps for both of these miracle mom and baby.
