Naomh Padraig supporting Emerge Lisburn
Donation protected
St Patricks GAA Lisburn have entered 2 relay teams in this year's Belfast City Marathon, taking place on Sunday 3rd of October with the aim of raising vital funds for Emerge Counselling Services .
This Lisburn based service provides support to all members of the community who may be struggling with their mental health by offering 1-1 counselling, befriending and crisis walk-in and telephone services.
"A suicide is like a pebble in a pond. The waves ripple outward." The impact of suicide on friends and loved ones can be devastating, and Emerge's passion about preventing loss of life by suicide and self-harm is evident.
It is more important than ever, given the pandemic, that we all look after our mental health, and support charities to continue to help those who need it most.
Emerge Counselling Services is a Charity solely reliant on Community funding.
