Nantucket has a history of rallying around its own. This fund was originally started to help Feed the Front Lines of Nantucket's fight against COVID-19 and then supplying lunch for over 200 Nantucket Public School teachers and staff in the Fall of 2020. There was $500 left in the account as of January 2021.
We have now rolled the funds that were not used into the Nantucket Giving Fund. These funds will be used this December 2021 to support the Giving Trees of Nantucket, and hopefully create a legacy of continuing to support our island community where it is needed most. (Safe Place, Our Island Home, etc)
