Nancy’s fight with stage 4 cancer

My name is Tony Beck and I’m raising money for my my sister-in-law, Nancy Crider Beck, who has been battling breast cancer the last several years, and her family (My brother Micah Beck and their 8 year old daughter Audrey).

Nancy just turned 50 years old last week. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. While it was a scare, she completed chemotherapy and went into remission! She beat it! Thank the lord!

Well earlier this year there was another lump found behind her NEW breast. Just less than 4 years later and Nancy found herself going through chemo again. This time more aggressive, along with some other medication that took a major toll on her body. The chemo failed.

Last week they put her at stage 4 triple negative metastatic breast cancer. Meaning her body isn’t responding to hormonal therapy medicines and it has spread to other areas of her body and is aggressively attacking her SPINE! She has started some new medication in hopes of slowing the spread, but it can’t get any better so they say. My brother tells me Nancy is completely miserable. She’s in significant pain and can hardly sleep. She must be wondering if tomorrow will truly be her last day. She’s already had several surgeries and 2 rounds of chemo. We just don’t know what’s next for her.

The main reasons I started this fundraiser was to hopefully raise some extra money for this sweet family in need. First and foremost I want to be able to help fund Nancy to check a couple items off her bucket list. I also want to have a little money raised for my brother Micah and their precious Audrey. I want them to not have to stress about money while attending to their loved one and completely unaware of what is to be next for their life. A lot of money has already been spent, cars have been sold, and medical bills are still out there and stacking up. There are much larger bills due ahead. Nancy won’t be able to work much longer, if at all, as she’s been a hair stylist for well over 20 years.

Nancy has been one of the greatest assets in my life over the last 12 years. She’s a God fearing, family centered, wonderful woman who would put her life on hold in an instant to be there for someone she loves.

Please, please help me help them. I can’t imagine what either of them are going through and each of them are experiencing this traumatic event in completely different aspects.
