Nancy and Daughter Reunion
Donation protected
For the first time in my life, I feel COMPLETE!
Myself, with the help of many others over the years, have been searching for my Daughter I gave up for adoption in 1965.
Recently:
Even though my sister Susan Mraz Mungavin and a couple of friends Tabitha Curtis and Andrea Samuelson Adamko were actively searching, unbeknownst to them, I had had many years of depression, get the better of me.
I finally, had given up HOPE! A few weeks later my sister Susan called me. She asked me “ If I was sitting down.”
Of course I thought something had happened to one of my siblings, but the next thing she said was, “ I found HER!”
NOW, I WAS, SITTING DOWN!!
I talked to my Daughter for the first time in 53 years! 53 years of pain, worry and depression, GONE, in a split second of time!! Later to learn there were so many connections; She lives in Connecticut!! She is very familiar with Westport!! AND, lives 8 minutes from another sister Patty Mraz Graves…… wait, wait it gets crazier!
Her daughter, My Grandaughter, just graduated from William and Mary, where my brother, Will Mraz is a Lacrosse Coach, at William and Mary!! Crazy right!?
Its been a tough few years. My Husband has fought 2 battles with Cancer and numerous surgeries and I am now in remission after fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia and am suffering with side effects from high doses of Chemotherapy. Although I am in Remission, NOW, we honestly don’t know how much time I have, if it came back. There isn’t a Cure and it spreads quickly.
Long Story, short my family and my Daughters family have one week in August that works for everyone!
The money raised will be used for:
$320.00- Round trip ticket per person, for 2
$300.00- ur groceries and maybe a dinner out
$400.00- loss of income from John’s Job
I need your help. Whether you can donate, share or tell my story, and MOST importantly, PRAY, because that is how it HAPPENED. I am embarrassed and ashamed to have to be asking. For those that know me, that comes from my heart, so thank you so much for making a life long dream a reality!
