Donation protected
Dear All,
During the summer of this year after my GCSE exams, I will be taking part in a trip to Namibia with my school for two weeks.
I will work with a local school, teaching classes, running workshops, building equipment and renovating buildings to make it a better and happy environment for the students.
I will also be working with a charity called EHRA, who do amazing elephant protection work and improve relations between these elephants and the people in Namibia.
To take part in this incredible excursion I must raise £2400, which will mainly go to improving the school, but will also cover the cost of the trip. I have already raised some of the money through babysitting, however any donations would be hugely appreciated, and will go a long way in helping the school and the charity.
Recently I have been running three kilometres, twice a week in the park before school as a preliminary training programme. To raise this money I have decided to set myself a challenge, increasing the distance and amount of times I run. Given that I am working towards my GCSE’s, in the half-term holiday I pledge to run five kilometres every day for seven days, a total of thirty-five kilometres.
I hope you can help me !
Love, Liberty
