Sometimes, Life doesn't just rain challenges on us, but pours them down. This is one such time for our friends Nakia & Abdul, and their two children. Both she and her husband recently lost their jobs due to cuts/downsizing, and while Nakia has found something new, her husband hasn't yet and they have burned through any money they had stockpiled. They also recently found out that their landlord isn't going to renew their lease and they need to be out of their home by the end of April at the latest, but possibly sooner. All of which stresses their already depleted funds. Needless to say, her life needs some cheer, and more. Help comes in many forms -- hugs, job leads, housing leads, and straight up financial assistance. That's what this page it about. If you can help defray any of these costs, I know they will be very grateful. Please help us raise up the umbrella on this very rainy day!
