Najah's Costa Rica Volunteer Trip

In support of my Temple University Public Health degree I am 1 of 15 students that have been selected for a study abroad program in Costa Rica this summer. I will be in Costa Rica from June 7th through July 12th and  will visit San Jose’, Liberia and many other parts of Costa Rica. The focus of my trip is to help the residents of Costa Rica. I will be administering first aid to those who cannot afford to visit hospitals, helping domestic violence victims, and providing health education on a variety of topics. This trip will afford me the unique opportunity to experience a volcano, a rain forest, zip lining, and breathtaking ruins. I will also have the chance to hone my Spanish speaking skills which is exciting for me because my goal is to become fluent. The total cost of this trip is $4000 which includes the flight, tuition and all accommodations. I must submit my final payment by June 1, 2015.
