Nagham's Plea: A Shattered Dream in Gaza

Donation protected
My name is Nagham. I’m just 16 years old, but I feel like I’ve lived a lifetime of pain. I used to have dreams—dreams of going to school, succeeding, and entering university. My family, all 15 of us, lived in northern Gaza, where my parents ran a clothing factory. We were happy. We were safe.

But on October 7, everything was taken from us. Our house and factory were destroyed in the bombings. My dreams crumbled along with the walls of our home. We became refugees in our own land, moving from place to place, trying to escape the death that chased us.

We’ve suffered days of unbearable hunger, fear, and the constant terror of not knowing if we would survive to see the next day. We couldn’t even reach southern Gaza to find safety. Now, we are trapped in northern Gaza, with nothing but memories of the life we once had.

We are barely holding on, clinging to the hope that somehow, with your help, we can survive this nightmare. Please, don’t turn away. We need your support to keep going, to keep hoping that one day, we might find peace again.
