Nadia’s Blessing

Hi, my name is Meghan and I’m fundraising for someone near and dear to my heart. Nadia is one of the most beautiful, genuine, caring people you will ever meet. If you have been lucky enough to cross her path, you know exactly what I’m talking about. She is HUMAN SUNSHINE. I was her nurse manager, and the amount of personal attention and love she showed for her patients is unlike anything I have ever seen. Nadia is from Venezuela, and English is her second language. In Venezuela, she worked as a registered nurse (she is working as a CNA until she can finish nursing classes and pass her boards here in America). She has worked fiercely to make a life for herself in this country. I cannot think of an instance when I asked her to go above and beyond that she didn’t meet and exceed my ask. Nadia loves people and people love Nadia!

She is now nearing the end of her (high risk) pregnancy, and due to some unfortunate life circumstances she finds herself facing motherhood alone. She is scheduled for a c-section soon and will need financial support as she will be unable to work for at least 6 weeks (and she has no one to help her with bills/expenses during this time).
