Nachito’s selling permit
Donation protected
Hi my name is Yereth. Nacho is my dad who I am fundraising for. Let me tell you a little bit about what he’s gone through in the past 3 years. Starting July 2020 he had a bad pain in his foot that turned out to be a nail dug into his foot. Which led us to take him to the hospital where we found out the cut was infected to the bone, and he also had a broken foot( he has neuropathy). They were able to save his foot from the infection, but ever since he broke it, his foot hasn’t been the same. He’s not able to walk or ride his bike as much which is how he gets around. His foot got infected again because of his hard healing due to his diabetes, which led to 2 more surgeries. And then by the end of October 2020 him and my mom caught Covid which lead them to be in the hospital for about two weeks. And then by November 2020 we had lost my mom which was also his wife for 30 years, and that also took a big toll on him. As of now he is also losing his vision due to cataracts that he is not able to get surgically removed. Due to his legal status, he’s not able to claim any government assistance for his disabilities. Which is why he sells his raspados, gelatinas con rompope, or anything he can come up with. For the past two weeks he has not been able to sell because the restaurant he was selling at no longer wanted to help because of issues with the health department. And I know we as his kids try to help him as much as we could, so we do as much as we can. We would love to see if we can get donations for him to get his selling permit, or have money to lean on for when he needs to buy the medicine he needs for his diabetes and stage 3 kidney disease. This is just a little part of my dads story from these past couple years. Thank you for reading and We would appreciate anything that you can donate. God bless you all.
