Our community needs our help. The team at Foot & Ankle Reconstruction of North Georgia has organized this GoFundMe Campaign to help provide meals for the staff members of our local hospitals and first responders here in Cherokee County, Georgia. We want to feed these heroes with delicious meals from our great “LOCAL” small business restaurants to help show support for our community.
Imagine being able to provide meals for our heroes who are working countless hours to help save lives. Imagine helping our local restaurants throughout our great community as they weather these sudden economic challenges.
Just recently we were able to provide 200 meals for Northside Cherokee Hospital from local food hot spot, Eat At River Park , and now our team would like to help more within our community. With the federal social distancing guidelines extended through April and local declaration of emergency issues in recent days, it is certain that more challenging days are ahead, especially for those battling COVID-19 on the front lines.
Our Community Mission:
Our mission as a community is to raise the required funding to feed local hospital staff members and first responders a nutritious lunch or dinner for 30 days or longer. We are launching this week and partnering with as many who are on board to help.
Every meal will be supplied by local restaurants to help keep their business operational. They will deliver these meals and we are anticipating $12 and under per individual to feed.
How Can You Help?
There are many ways you can join our mission to help our great community during this emergency.
For those financially able and wanting to help, please consider donating through this GoFundMe Campaign. After GoFundMe’s 2.9% processing fees, EVERY dollar coming into this page will go direct out to feed our hospital professionals
For those not able to donate money are asked to consider sharing our mission with family and friends online. Help us grow awareness by sharing our mission and community needs online using the hashtag, #FeedTheFrontLine
Join us in this mission – we know many families are suffering medically and economically, and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone.
The strength and endurance of our heroes is needed now more than ever, and we plan to meet their needs with a heightened urgency for the next 30 days.
