STORY:
I had the opportunity to meet Denise Winn at a mutual friend’s home when she stopped by to drop off 500 N95 masks for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center so they could be delivered to their ER and ICU.  I asked her where she got them and what she was doing...and what I found out was incredible and awe-inspiring.

Denise who owns Winn Expo Solutions, used her business connections to purchase and ship 20,000 N95, 5000 KN95 masks and 65,000 surgical masks.  She has been donating them to frontline medical professionals in dire need of these supplies.  Winn, with help from her nonprofit partner, Operation Be Kind, has already delivered masks to many hospitals and local senior centers.  Another 80,000 medical masks will be arriving within 2 weeks and she is working on another shipment of N95 masks.

But Winn, whose operations rely mostly on donations, said they have not received much aid since her first shipment of masks and will not be able to continue purchasing masks without help.

I heard a story that day about nurses who care for COVID-19 patients at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica protesting because they did not have enough N95 masks.
I asked her, "How many N95 masks can I get right away for St. John's Hospital?"  She said 500.  I told her I would try to raise the money for these 500 masks.  I said "How much do they cost you?" She told me $3 each.  I made phone calls to friends and they all wanted to help. From these donations, we have been able to get 500 masks for St. John's that we will deliver tomorrow. Winn also had 320 N95 masks ready to deliver to UCLA hospital.  I contacted Kathryn Purwin with Helinet Aviation and she donated the cost of those masks allocated to UCLA. (https://www.facebook.com/helinetaviation/posts/2949345398465111).  Several others have asked if there's a way they can donate something to help out, even if it's just a little bit.  Any amount, even the cost of one mask ($3 ) helps and will allow Winn and Operation Be Kind order more masks to help the frontline medical professionals.https://www.presstelegram.com/2020/04/14/newport-beach-resident-compton-company-keep-collecting-n95-masks-for-hospitals/

If you would like to donate the cost of these masks to any particular hospital in Southern California, please annotate that in the comment section and we will do the best we can.

100% of the donations will go to helping provide N95 and surgical masks for our medical professionals and senior community. Masks are FDA approved with proper certification.
