Three years ago, our world changed forever when we lost our beloved dad, Rob. In his honour, we created Run for Rob — a tradition where my brother, Beau, takes on an extraordinary challenge each year to raise money for families going through tough times.

What began as a way to support our mum in that first difficult year has now grown into a yearly fundraiser where we honour Dad’s memory by helping others.

This year, Beau will be pushing himself harder than ever — running 300km to support James, a young father who recently suffered the heartbreaking and sudden loss of his partner, Lisa.

Lisa was only 35 years old. She and James had been together for 8 years, sharing a deep love and building a life together. They are the proud parents of two beautiful children — Isaac (4) and Emilia (3).

Lisa was a devoted and loving mother and partner, whose warmth, kindness, and joy touched everyone around her. She was deeply loved and is greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

No one can ever be prepared for this kind of loss. Our hope is that through Run for Rob 2025, we can ease some of the financial burden James now faces and help him focus on what matters most — Isaac and Emilia.
