Hope For Layla
Hi ClearChoice Family,
A Walnut Creek team member is going through some challenging times and I would like to share some of her story with you. Jordan Sproul has been a apart of the ClearChoice family for over 8 years she has played a part in many of our lives in within her different roles.
Today we are coming to you our ClearChoice family to support and her family during this time of need. Please see the story below:
Layla Rayne Aninion was born on June 4th.
Her story starts back at 24 weeks in mommy’s tummy where the Doctors noticed on her ultrasound that there were several concerning factors with Layla’s anatomy, primarily her heart. Her heart is very sick and unfortunately was getting worse as time went on. They watched her closely, and ultimately decided in order to save her life that they would need to perform an emergency c section to get her out and give her the highest chance of living.
She has been in the Stanford NICU for over 2 weeks with a team of specialists caring for her minute to minute and no real sight of when she will be out.
Layla’s condition is very rare. The Doctors at Stanford still do not know the reason why Layla’s condition is so severe with the combination of anomalies that are going on. They are doing everything they can to keep her alive and comfortable so she can get a little stronger everyday.
No one knows what the future holds for Layla, but what we do know is that she has an army of prayer warriors behind her and she has experienced several wins over the past week, and her family continues to focus on those wins.
Jordan and her husband are commuting from the east bay to Stanford everyday and spending all day in the NICU with Layla by her side when the medical team is not performing any care or procedures on her.
They have had several family members, friends, and colleagues reach out to offer up any help or support they may need during this time. Both Jordan and Nas are out of work and ultimately do not know when they will be able to return depending on how Layla’s condition progresses.
Other than prayers for Layla, any help financially will be put towards Layla’s hospital bills and necessary care for Jordan and Nas as they go through this uncertain time with their baby girl.
Jordan and Nas thank you in advance for any help and support.
