In trying to find the right words for this fundraiser, the only words that came to mind were Truth and Community.
The truth is, we need help raising money for my nephew, baby Zion. So my family and I decided to reach out to our community in hopes of prayers and help.
Baby Zion was born prematurely and has been battling several health issues. One of them being, Laryngomalacia, which is a condition where floppy tissue above the vocal chords falls into the airway when a child breathes.
He will be going into surgery this week and will be in the hospital for the next several weeks.
The money we raise as a community will help cover medical bills and expenses.
