Tenemos una familia local que está perdiendo su hogar. Son un hogar multigeneracional que ha perdido la mayor parte de sus ingresos debido a problemas médicos, y con las facturas médicas y la pérdida de ingresos, ahora también están perdiendo su hogar. Estos últimos dos años han sido muy difíciles para ellos. María, la cabeza de familia, perdió a su esposo, su hijo sufrió múltiples lesiones en un accidente, perdió su trabajo y ahora cuida de sus hijos y familiares mayores. Ahora, con el estrés de perder su hogar y no poder encontrar una vivienda asequible, ella misma ha sufrido graves complicaciones médicas.

Si nuestra comunidad pudiera unirse para ayudarlos a recaudar los fondos necesarios para poder mudarse y no quedarse sin hogar justo antes de las fiestas, significaría muchísimo para ellos. Actualmente tienen dos personas mayores que necesitan atención médica y un menor que asiste a la escuela en nuestro Distrito Escolar Unificado de Dixon. We have a local family that is losing their home. They are a multi-generational household that has lost the largest portion of their income due to medical issues, and with the medical bills and loss of income, they are now losing their home as well. These last couple of years have been very difficult for them. Maria, the head of the household, lost her husband, then had her son suffer multiple injuries in an accident, she lost her job, and is now the caretaker of her children and her elderly relatives. Now, with the stress of losing their home and not being able to find affordable housing, she has herself suffered major medical complications.

If our community could come together to help them raise the funds to be able to afford to move and not go homeless right before the holidays, it would mean the world to them. They currently have two elderly individuals who need medical care and one minor that attends school within our Dixon Unified School District.
