As many of you have heard, Venezuela is a country suffering of a huge economical and humanitarian crisis. According to a new study by the UN World Food Program, 1 of every 3 people in Venezuela is struggling to put food on the table. The situation is even worse since the Covid-19 Pandemic outbreak because of the amount of people without jobs or ways to finding food. Not to mention, inflation in the country is sky high and families are making less than $29 a month. I was born in Venezuela. I come from a town called Cua in the State of Miranda where there are a team of people and volunteers using our donations here in the US to bring food to families that are practically starving. Babies are dying of malnutrition every day. People don't even have access to medicine for the ones that are ill or any kind of help or support. The money raised is to send every day through Zelle to buy the food that this team delivers to the lists of families in need. There are thousands of families in Venezuela already living without water or electricity. It means a whole lot to be able to at least contribute a bag of food to help these families survive during these hard times.
