Clean Water Fredericksburg began in the Summer of 2018 when there was a brief lull in the addition of industrial grade fluoride in Fredericksburg. Concerned parents, people suffering from fluoride related illnesses, and folks that want to choose what goes into their water got together and approached the city council to keep the fluoride out of the water. Armed with binders of facts, it ultimately did no good as the fluoride was added back into the municipal water supply. Once that happened, CWF was born.
With a lot of hard work, we accrued more than enough signatures to amend the city charter and are on the ballot for a special election on November 5th in Fredericksburg, where a simple "Yes" vote will end the fluoridation of our water.
And we still need your help.
In order to fuel our drive to the finish line, we'll need funds for ads, radio time, shirts, and even legal support.
There's a fluoride free wave that's rising in Texas, and it's the most important issue that we can address at a local level.
