Savannah Backpack Mission 2021

Savannah Backpack Mission Inc. is a non-profit organization created by me, Lilli Apt, to help raise money for the less fortunate children who attend summer camps. This year, 2021, there are multiple camps for children from low income families in Savannah. Many of the children come to these camps using a plastic shopping bag to hold their belongings. 
     My part in all of this is to fundraise and buy Nike drawstring bags and water bottles for each camper. Since June 7th, I have visited 7 of these camps to hand out the bags and water bottles in Savannah. As of June 22nd, we have handed out 430 backpacks and water bottles.

    We continue to actively fundraise and are planning one more backpack handout in July.
