Help Me Bring My Husband Home

Donation protected
My name is Eva, and my heart is breaking as I write this.

On November 25th, my husband Enes was taken by ICE agents while simply on his way to work. One moment, he was starting his morning like any other hardworking person in the US. The next, he was gone - no warning, no explanation. Just suddenly taken away from our family.

A Man Who Did Everything Right

Enes is Kurdish from Turkey. He came to the United States in November 2022 seeking safety and asylum from persecution. Since the day he arrived, he has done everything by the book:

  • Never missed a single court date
  • Attended his master's hearing in May 2025
  • Already preparing for his next hearing in January 2026
  • Followed every rule by the book and trusted the system completely

Everyone who's met Enes can confirm he is the gentlest soul you could ever meet. An honest, hardworking, kind-hearted man who would give his last dollar to help someone in need. He's the type of person who makes the world a better place.

Our Shattered Dreams

Enes is not just my husband, but also my best friend, my partner, and the love of my life. We've been fighting infertility together and praying every day to become parents. Even through all the challenges, we stayed hopeful. "We will have our baby one day, I promise," he would tell me.

While we waited for that dream, he was already the sweetest cat dad to our two fur babies. He talked to them, played with them, and made them feel safe. Now they sit by the door every day, confused and waiting for him to come home. Our little family feels unbearably empty without him.

We were also preparing to apply for his family-based petition after I became a U.S. citizen. For the first time in a long time, we had allowed ourselves to feel real hope—to imagine a stable, happy future together.

Ironically, I became a US citizen on 26th Nov- in a little over 24 hours after Enes was taken. So before we could even take that next step, ICE had taken him from me. They took him from his home. They took him from his family.

The Impossible Weight I'm Carrying Now

Enes was our main provider. Now I'm left facing not only devastating heartbreak, but crushing financial pressure.

I'm doing everything humanly possible to survive and keep fighting. I am working three jobs

  • In an educational center for young kids, working with children, which helps me hold onto hope for my own dream of becoming a mother someday
  • Driving for Uber in the evenings after my shift at the educational center
  • Cleaning homes on the weekends

I'm working hard to cover basic expenses, but even with three jobs, I cannot afford the legal costs to bring Enes home. I found an immigration lawyer to fight for his release, but the costs are overwhelming:

  • Legal representation and attorney fees
  • Immigration filings, motions, and appeals
  • Basic living expenses now that our main income is gone

The process is long, painful, and shockingly expensive. I'm giving everything I have—every hour, every ounce of strength—but I cannot do this alone.

How Your Support Will Help

Our goal is $ 24000 to cover the following expenses . To ensure transparency, I want you to know what every dollar you contribute will go towards:

  • Legal representation : $15000- Attorney fees for detention hearings, bond proceedings and asylum case representation
  • Immigration filings and court motions: $5000- Filing fees, document preparation, translations and required paperwork
  • Living expenses for next few months: $4000- To help bridge the gap while our main income is gone and I fight to bring him home

Please Help

Even the smallest contribution—$5, $10, or simply sharing this page—makes a real difference. Your support isn't just financial. It's emotional. It shows me that we're not alone in this nightmare. That good people still exist. That compassion still matters.

My family is being torn apart for no fault of ours.

I am fighting every single day to bring Enes home, and I won't stop until he's back in my arms. But right now, I desperately need your help.

Please help me bring my husband home. Please help me bring Enes back to our family.

From the bottom of my heart—thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and your humanity.

I promise updates will be shared regularly as we navigate this process. Thank you for standing with us.
