This is a plea to save the life of a young man in Gaza.
Hello, my name is Nader, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Mohammed Zeyad, a 28-year-old from Gaza, Palestine.
Mohamed’s life was once full of promise — a talented Front-End Developer, QA Tester, and WordPress freelancer with big dreams for the future. But the war in Gaza has taken everything from him: his home, his small farm, his job, and even his beloved brother who was killed. Today, Mohamed is struggling every single day just to survive hunger, illness, and displacement.
He suffers from chronic asthma and urgently needs inhalers and oxygen support. Because of extreme food shortages, he lost more than 15 kg and often faints in the street from hunger and weakness. His dream of pursuing a Master’s in Data Science in Canada has been shattered — unless we come together to help him.
Right now, Mohamed’s most urgent needs are:
Food and clean water to fight starvation
Urgent medical treatment for asthma
✈️ Safe evacuation and medical care abroad
Support to rebuild his dream of education
Every day in Gaza feels like escaping death. But with your kindness, Mohamed can have hope again.
Please donate if you can, and share this campaign widely on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp. Even the smallest contribution can save a life and give him a chance to live with dignity.
We are not asking for miracles — just the chance for Mohamed to survive and rebuild his future.
Mohamed’s Story in His Own Words
About Me
Hello, my name is Mohammed Zeyad, I am 28 years old from Gaza, Palestine.
Before the war, I worked as a Front-End Developer, QA Tester, and WordPress Freelancer. I also had a stable job with Noon Palestine Company. But when the war destroyed my company and freelance platforms, I lost all sources of income.
Health Struggles
Since childhood, I have suffered from asthma and severe chest allergies. Even the smallest exposure to dust or a change in weather can trigger a serious asthma attack, leading to a dangerous drop in oxygen levels and feelings of suffocation. In many cases, I urgently require a nebulizer treatment, as regular inhalers often fail to provide sufficient relief.
Photo Description
The photo shows my empty inhalers and medication packs, placed on top of medical prescriptions. This demonstrates my long-term struggle with chronic asthma and the continuous need for treatment. It also reflects the severe shortage of medical supplies in Gaza, which makes it extremely difficult for me to manage my condition.
Hunger and Health Struggles
Due to the severe food shortages in Gaza, I lost 15 kg of body weight. I have fainted multiple times in the street because of extreme hunger, weakness, and lack of essential vitamins and nutrients. These conditions have significantly worsened my overall health and made my chronic asthma even harder to manage.
Unbearable Prices
Prices of basic commodities have skyrocketed – a kilo of flour costs 80 euros, and onions are now sold by the piece, if they can be found at all. A kilo of sugar costs 150 euros. There is no work, and no money left to buy the scarce goods in Gaza.
Your donation will help us survive by providing urgent food, clean water, medical supplies, and hygiene products. It can also cover evacuation costs, passports, and travel arrangements. Even $5 could save lives. If you can’t donate, please share our story — every voice counts.
The impact of the war on my career
Due to the war, I lost my job at Noon Palestine, where I held several positions, most notably as a quality assurance engineer and a front-end developer. Additionally, my freelance work on platforms like Upwork and Mostaql, as well as my projects on social media platforms, were severely affected by the ongoing power and internet outages. Many clients are hesitant to hire developers from Gaza, fearing that the unstable conditions will delay project delivery.
The Bombing of Our Five-Story Home
In a single moment, our five-story home was bombed.
It wasn’t only the house that was lost — the memories were buried with it.
The past is gone, the present destroyed, and even the future stolen.
The place where I grew up, where I breathed and lived… is now just rubble.
Lord, I seek Your mercy, Your comfort, and Your promise of better days.
War Losses
The war has taken everything from me:
My small chicken farm
️ My family home, which was bombed
️ My elder brother, who was killed
After his martyrdom, I could no longer go to aid centers because of grief and security risks.
Lost Dream of Education
I was accepted to study a Master’s in Data Science at St. Clair College in Canada. But because of the war, border closures, and no financial support, I lost my chance. I have already missed more than one academic year, and with it my dream of education.
⚠️ Surviving Death Many Times
Every day in Gaza feels like surviving death. I have survived:
Bombing, tank fire, and artillery shelling
Long, suffocating queues for food aid
Bullets, explosions, being run over by trucks, and suffocation from overcrowding at aid distribution centers (death traps)
And yet, I still hold on to hope.
Why I Need Your Help
I am raising funds to cover my most urgent needs:
Basic food supplies, clean water, and hygiene items
Asthma treatment (inhalers and oxygen)
✈️ Safe evacuation abroad for life-saving medical care
Rebuilding my dream of higher education and completing my Master’s degree in Canada
How You Can Help
Even a small donation — just $5 — can provide food, medicine, or a step toward evacuation. If you cannot donate, please share this campaign widely on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or WhatsApp. Every share helps reach more compassionate hearts ❤️.
Together, we can save my life, restore my health, and give me a chance to live with dignity and hope for the future.
