Look at this picture. These three little ones are standing on the bare ground, dressed in torn clothes, with eyes full of questions no child should have. They are too young to understand why life feels this hard. The smallest one should be learning to talk, not worrying about her next meal. The older ones already know what it feels like to go to bed hungry.

My name is Kirunda Sharif, and I started Future Smiles Initiative Africa because I could not stand seeing children live like this. Some of them lost their parents. Others were abandoned. All they want is something so simple: food to eat, love to feel, and a chance to dream.

When I first met kids like these, one of them looked at me and said quietly, “Uncle, I just want to eat and go to school like other children.” That broke me. No child should ever have to beg for the right to live.

With the little support we have received so far, we have given some children daily meals so they do not sleep hungry anymore. We have paid school fees and bought books for those who had dropped out. We have provided clothes to those who had nothing warm to wear. But every day, more children like the ones in this photo come to us with empty stomachs and broken hearts, and the truth is, I cannot do this alone.

Your donation can change a life today. Ten dollars will feed a child for a whole week. Twenty-five dollars will buy clothes and shoes. Fifty dollars will pay for school fees and supplies for one term. One hundred dollars will give a child food, shelter, and education for a whole month.
