Hello,
My name is Sami and I'm a Junior at Vista Del Lago High School. This summer, from May 31 to June 11, I will be traveling to Costa Rica for a service project through an organization called The Walking Tree.
I'm super excited to get to travel abroad for a cause. During my stay in Costa Rica I, along with other sudents, will be immersed into Costa Rican culture while living with and assisting natives. Though we are only staying with them for a week, I am beyond thrilled for the opportunity to gain so much experience and perspective. The host village is still to be determined. While we are in Costa Rica, we are going to explore the beautiful country and what it has to offer. We will swim in some of Costa Rica's breathtaking waterfalls, visit the Chato and Arenal Volcanos, and ride the zipline.
I am writing to ask for your help in participating in this project. Any donation that you can provide to lessen the cost would be greatly appreciated.
