Hey everyone! Most of you all know our family's journey with Myla. The long 4 years it's been and the battles we have endured to ensure that Myla has a safe home and family.

I will start off by introducing myself and my family. My husband is Wes, and we have two children of our own. Chartres is our 13-year-old son and is a baseball fanatic. Olive is our 9-year-old daughter who is in her Swiftie era.

I am Mallory Turnage. I have been an employee of Marigny Elementary for almost 4 years. This is where we met our girl, Myla.

Myla is now 7 years old and full of life! To know her is to love her! She's a bouncy, energetic, loving child, and her wish is to be adopted by our family.

In April of 2024, my husband and I were awarded full custody of our girl. We were over the moon. Now, we are given the opportunity to actually pursue adoption.

We have hired an attorney, and she is ready to make Myla's and our dreams come true; however, the cost is expensive. The adoption is a private adoption. Myla was never in foster care because we immediately stepped in for her.

I absolutely hate asking for donations, but God has definitely provided for us since the beginning when Myla walked into our lives as a little 4-year-old girl.

The total cost for the whole ordeal is roughly $15,000. If anyone feels called to donate anything to our cause, it would be greatly appreciated!
