My cousin was robbed and killed after staying out to run errands for his Mom and his two daughters on June 27 2022.

He was targeted by a group of men, who followed him after suspecting that he had money on him. His mother, Betty, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for stage four breast cancer, is now left to take care of his daughters as he was the sole provider for them both. 

He spent his last moments trying to provide for his family and sadly for my Aunt Betty, it is not the first child she has lost. She has now suffered this tragedy twice in her lifetime after losing her daughter as well. No parent should ever have to bury their children. 

My goal here is two parts. First, I would like to give my cousin Krishna a proper funeral so we can correctly say goodbye to him and pay our respects. Secondly, I would like to adopt his daughters and help his mother with chemo treatments. As a man raised without a father, I understand the complex challenges without a pillar to rely on. The funds would help me set up housing, schooling, and daily care.  We are aware of how difficult adoption services can be. In addition, these funds would allow me to get a lawyer well versed in child services to help this process as quickly as possible and keep his children safe. 

I plan to also give updates on this as donations arise. I thank you in advance for your kindness and pray I am able to honor his legacy. I want to make sure his daughters aren’t subjugated to any abuse and get the help they need. He would do anything for them and not being able to help would be devastating knowing how much he cared for them and his mother.
