31 & Battling Stage 4 Terminal Lung Cancer

Hi , my name is Oliver , I’m fundraising to help make memories with my wife & to complete my bucket list just small things in life I’m not looking to do much just a night away or dinner it’s making the small memories that matter to me

i was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer at the age of 26 which was in my left lung ,Spine & bones in back

A few months ago I ended up in hospital paralysed down the left hand side of my body & ended up having a seizure

The Cancer has now spread to my brain /Kidneys & Throat ,

Took me 3 weeks of recovery with me being paralysed, but with my wife by my side helping me in and out of the shower , also into the wheelchair etc ..

A couple of days ago was in hospital the due to my brain tumour growing to 26mm which resulted in multiple seizures I’m now on a number or medications & steroids to hopefully reduce this however when I was in hospital they asked me about a DNR something I’m not 100% about & something we are not thinking about at the moment but still daunts us knowing a decision will have to be made one day .

I’ve been given the news of 5months to 5years due to the progression & unfortunately that will not change due to the information from multiple consultants obviously that’s just not enough time but I have to keep pushing myself this cancer will not win I won’t let it

Unfortunately even with medication I’m constantly in pain on a daily basis struggling to do the things I once loved to do like fishing , driving , etc ..

im now 31 years old all I’m looking to do now is make memories with my wife with the time I have left

i am battling this Cancer each & everyday fighting as hard as possible to be here for my wife
