Please help my son during his grief and hardship

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Candace, and I am writing this on behalf of my son, Landon (Dale) Ursu, who is facing an incredibly difficult time after the unexpected passing of his father (Dale Roger Ursu) on September 29, 2024, due to sudden heart failure.
Landon's father had been in remission from cancer for a few years. They had finally reached a place where they no longer had to live under the shadow of illness and began to feel like life was looking up. His father’s sudden passing from unexpected heart failure hit hard—it was completely out of the blue, with no clear reason why. The shock and grief have been overwhelming for Landon.

Landon was a devoted and loving caregiver during his father's long fight with cancer. He stood by his father’s side during treatments, hospital stays, and supported his father during the extended time he was unable to work. Landon took on the responsibilities of managing the household, never once wavering in his commitment. Sadly, this prolonged illness left them in financial strain, and it prevented his father from securing life insurance. Now, Landon finds himself not only grieving the loss of his father but also facing the immense weight of the financial burdens that have been left behind.

Landon was with his father in his final moments. It all happened so quickly—too quickly for him or the paramedics to do anything. The heartbreak of losing him so unexpectedly lingers, but Landon hasn't had the time or space to fully process his grief. After only a week, he had no choice but to return to work, unable to afford more time away.

Now, Landon faces overwhelming financial pressures, including:

  • Burial and funeral expenses
  • Utility bills and essential home repairs
  • Previous debt related to home repairs
  • An outstanding car loan for a vehicle that can no longer be driven due to a broken transmission
  • Student debt
  • moving expenses
  • lawyer fees
  • On top of everything, Landon will be forced to sell the family home to help cover some his father's outstanding debts.

Landon is just 28 years old, but in those years, he has carried far more responsibility and hardship than most people his age. Through it all, he has remained thoughtful, giving, and kind—always putting others first, even when his own struggles seemed insurmountable. Now, more than ever, Landon deserves that kindness and care to be returned to him.

If you are able to contribute, no matter the size, it will help ease the weight on Landon’s shoulders during this time. Even if you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign would mean the world to him.

Thank you so much for your compassion, generosity, and support.
