Hello, my name is Daniel Brown. I am 13 and I am passionate about protecting our planet for future generations. I am hoping to go on an expedition with Camps International (Borneo) in my summer holidays in 2027. I will be playing an active part in supporting projects which will make a significant and lasting impact on the region's most critical issues.

I will need to raise as much as I can to go on this expedition which will cost £5,130

I will be involved in improvement Projects include such as:

*Village improvement works

*Habitat conservation to safeguard this wildlife paradise and helping to tackle deforestation

*Eco tourism and recycling initiatives

Some highlights of what's been achieved from these expeditions between 2009-2022 include

*Planting 750,000+ trees

*Constructing 14 toilets

*Building 9 Bridges

*Enabling access to schools in rainy season

*Refurbishing community facilities

Some of my plans to raise this money include:

*Selling my Lego

*Using my birthday and Christmas money

*Making and selling different things such as cards and decorations

*Community fundraising activities.

I thought about the things I believe will enjoy from the experience which include:

*Helping the community.

*Exploring different cultures and ways of life.

*Making a long-lasting contribution to protecting wildlife and ecosystems of Borneo.

*I hope to build my personal resilience and understanding of the world.

I'm a bit nervous about being away from home for 28 days and I'm hoping I won't be unwell during my time on the expedition.
