God Has Truly Humbled Me
For the past two years, life has been a storm. I’ve been through so much — things I couldn’t even make up if I tried — and yet I KNOW my story will turn into a testimony.
Right now, I take my kids to and from school and daycare every single day on a Lime Scooter. If you look closely in the videos I post, you’ll see my cream-colored truck sitting parked on the corner. That’s OUR truck — the one I worked so hard to get for my kids — but it’s been sitting there for 3 ½ months.
Not because I don’t want it fixed. But because the timing chain went out while me and my kids were on the expressway, and the repair costs are $1,500. With everything I’ve been carrying financially — from caring for my Nanny with mixed dementia, to fixing up her home with my own bare hands, to making sure my kids have what they need — I simply don’t have it right now.
I’ve gone from being able to afford Ubers daily, to now having no choice but to pile my kids on a scooter, no matter the weather, because I refuse to let them miss school. People see me riding with my babies every day and some even honk, wave, or encourage me, telling me “I see you, Momma, keep it up.” Those words mean more than they’ll ever know.
My struggle is temporary. I know God is working. But right now, we just need a little help. If I can get my truck back on the road, it would change so much for me and my kids. $1,500 will cover the repair and get us back to some normalcy.
If you can give, please do. If you can’t, sharing this means just as much. Thank you for reading my story, for encouraging me, and for believing in me and my little family. ❤️
