My sister Cassi could use some help

Hello, everyone,

Recently, my sister, Cassi Owens, was involved in an accident in which she sustained a severe traumatic, head injury. As a result, she has been hospitalized and will remain there for some time. We, her family, are grateful for the professional, lifesaving care she is receiving. Her medical team has been clear that the road to full recovery will take time and be challenging for Cassi once she is released from hospital care. Cassi will need ongoing therapy to recover, and it may be months before she is able live independently and resume work. Because of a recent career change, Cassi did not have health insurance at the time of her accident. And so, her medical and therapeutic care bills are of great concern. With that in mind, I, along with other members of Cassi’s family, have started a Go Fund Me on her behalf. For those of you who do not know my sister, Cassi is a loving mother of three school-aged children and a trusted friend to many.
