Everyone has their reason to stand up, and my reason is my Papa George. He is 89 years old and grew up surfing. He has gone through several skin cancer-related surgeries and is now facing prostate cancer.

My Papa George battles cancer with so much bravery and spirit, and it really encourages me to do the same when I’m competing. He inspires me every single time I Stand Up on a board.
