My Precious Alysha
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Norma Gonzalez and my close friends and family know me as Liz. I am thirty-eight years old, raising two children on my own. About eight years ago I decided to move from Puerto Rico to Connecticut with my two children. My thirteen year old son, JohnCarlos likes to play basketball and video games. My fifteen year old daughter, Alysha enjoys listening to music but unfortunately, she’s not able to play outdoors or do any other typical teenager activities due to her medical condition known as Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. Alysha is not able to use her legs, arms and her body. At this time there’s no cure but I’m optimistic that one day, a cure will be found and I am hopeful to see my daughter walk.
I am reaching out to you because I need help to raise $30,000 to purchase a wheelchair accessible van to bring my daughter to her routine scheduled doctor’s appointments including physical therapy at least three times week. As my daughter gets older and growing to become a beautiful teenager, it’s becoming difficult for me to lift her in to my vehicle and causing me severe back pains. I’ve saved up over $500.00 of my own money and need help for the next $29,500.
If you could support my GoFundMe by making a donation and sharing it with your friends, family, co-workers and/or network, I would greatly appreciate it. I know that money can be tight, so please know that even $5.00 helps me closer to my $30,000 goal. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Sincerely,
Norma Gonzalez
