Hello! I am helping raise funds for my partner and their family who live in Syracuse. I live closer to Rochester, which is why the area code is different. (Apologies for that.)

They have all saved up just enough money to escape from Missouri to New York to live a more fulfilling life, without life-threatening black mold, hyper conservative bigotry to their queer identities, and lack of medical support for their auto immunity and disabilities. Two of my partner's siblings and her mother have compromised immune systems, which makes even getting food more difficult.

They're all basically homeless now, due to the fact a pipe broke in the temporary rental they were going to live in. They were left without a place to live nor funds to find another living situation besides hotels. They've been hotel hopping for a bit now, and it's unsustainable.

They have apartment offers lined up but need the funds for the deposit and first month’s pay so they can settle and be safe as well as focus on following through with job interviews.

Anything helps. Genuinely. If you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask me. They're all pretty private people, so this is hard on them, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Thank you!
