Our parents life was stolen

Hello friends, Samantha, Stephanie and Seth here and we are reaching out for help from our community, for our parents (Shirley and Stan Brown). On Sunday, Sep 4, 2022, our parents' Uhaul truck with ALL their life's belongings was stolen. Our parents recently moved to FL to be with the rest of the family. They were storing the Uhaul at the Holiday Inn at 3535 Ulmerton RD Clearwater, FL 33762 while waiting for house to be ready.
Unfortunately, they will NOT BE GETTING ANY HELP FROM INSURANCE.
Some of the things that were in the truck:
- Family heirlooms passed down from generation to generation
- Canes that our grandfather made as a hobby and gave to people all around the US
- All of the family photos and videos from our childhood
- All their personal documents like marriage license (32 years of marriage)
- And much much more
We have faced problems with the cameras in the parking lot where the Uhaul was stored, rendering any chance of seeing the thieves ineffective. We have continuously been in contact with the local police, and there are ZERO sights of the truck. This was when we decided to turn to GoFundMe for any extra help to give back to our parents.
