On Tuesday, April 7th, my parents house burnt down and they lost everything.
Growing up, my mom always loved this house. As a little girl, she always said she would live here someday.
It was an old, unfinished eyesore for many years but my mom saw its potential. They transformed this entire property into something beautiful.
Thirty years of hard work, sweat, tears.
My parents took so much pride in this home. They’ve never took a day off. They’re constantly working, perfecting, upgrading. Everything about this home was pristine.
My mom’s dream home. My family’s forever home. Where I was raised. My room became my daughter’s room. She grew up here too.
All the family get togethers, the holidays, the summers..
All the memories this house held will be cherished forever
It’s a different kind of heart break seeing your parents break down into tears because they lost everything they worked their whole lives for.
My parents are the ones who are always there for everyone else. They would give the shirt off their backs or their last dime to someone who needs it.
I would love to be able to give back to them, in this devastating time of need.
I’m asking for the help that they would never ask anyone for themselves. If you’re able to donate in any way or just pray for them - it would be so appreciated.
Starting over is never easy.
